Lynda Tygart picture 1Corning Opera House“Our Past is Our Present to Our Future” — come meet the Artist, Lynda Tygart at the Corning Center for the Fine Arts in downtown Corning November 13 from 1 – 5 p.m.  Lynda’s testament to the importance of preserving our history in small town America shines through in her work. She also is preserving the history of the specialized art using the bromoil process which was created in the early 1900s and requires the hand inking of a bleached and tanned silver gelatin print.  Lynda will be on hand for the opening of her exhibit.  Come enjoy music, wine and food as you learn more about Lynda and the process and enjoy the show.  Corning Winery, Tim Koehn and Paul Koch will also be on hand to enhance the show.  Don’t miss out, but if you aren’t able to make the opening, stop in during regular hours and check out the exhibition.  This is part of a series “Second Saturdays in Corning” with a new exhibition each month.
