The Corning Center for the Fine Arts (CCFA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the creation of interdisciplinary arts. The center has a residency program for emerging, mid-career and established artists. CCFA provides artists with the physical space, technical assistance, and support to create new work. Interaction between the artists, their work, and the public is promoted through exhibitions, lectures, and educational opportunities. Download the artist residency application here.

Supplies provided by artists, pottery studio is fully equipped
Housing
Two resident apartments are available above art center. Each apartment has fantastic natural light, hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings. They both contain a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining area and bedroom totaling over 800 sq. ft. of space. The front apartment faces Davis Street with a beautiful parapet window in the living room, the back apartment has an extra room and rooftop deck toward the alley behind the art center.
Studio Space
Free studio space in art gallery, many residents have also set up studio spaces in the resident apartments in addition to their studio space in the art center
Gallery Responsibilities for Artist in Residence
Artist’s responsibility: To produce a mutually agreed upon amount of sellable artwork to be sold in gallery. Artist are also asked to schedule retail staffing in gallery.
