The Mission of the Corning Center for the Fine Arts is to provide citizens and visitors to Corning with a unique venue at which to enjoy that which makes Corning a great place to live and visit. Nestled in the downtown business district of Corning, Iowa, Corning Center for the Fine Arts (CCFA) is positioned to bring a unique blend of artistic happenings to Corning and its visitors. Our Main Gallery and our Atrium Gallery both offer visitors a wide variety of fine art and artisan crafted items, visit and see! Our Artist in Residency Program offers artists the opportunity for a dynamic residency program with studio and living space, and incentives to relocate to Adams County. Lastly our classes and cultural events bring a variety of opportunities for everyone in Corning, Adams County and the region to take part in a vibrant cultural experience and have a great time.

CCFA’s Artist in Residency program is one of only 80 artist-in-residency programs in the United States; and the only one in Iowa. Through this program artists will reside in Corning and bring their special talents to our region. We look forward to these artists complementing our creative culture.

Within this mission, the Artist in Residency Program will support and enhance the creativity of artists by providing time for work, reflection and collegial interaction in a unique, small-town setting. For more information see our Artist in Residency section of our website.
